The Minister of Agriculture said that the reduction in agricultural production output in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is having a ripple effect in the region.

"When you take a look at the marketplace in Barbados for a lot of the produce that they would get from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines the markets are empty, and they are experiencing a significant increase in the price for food in Barbados. So, by the way of solidarity being part of CARICOM, being my brother and my friend, we are going to work to address this issue."
